This year, Mardi Gras is unleashed - a full-bodied celebration of queer brilliance, delicious chaos, and pure, unfiltered pride. The theme for 2026 is ECSTATICA which emphasises joy as a powerful force for connection within the LGBTQIA+ community. “The idea that our joy is powerful, political and unstoppable. This year’s festival celebrates connection in all its forms: from streets to screens, from protest to party, and from one another to the world. Join Dr. Joy Townsend (Learning Consent Founder & CEO), Dr. Mardi Wilson (Domestic and Sexual Violence Specialist) and Dr. Evvie Pappas (Senior eLearn Designer) on 12th Feb 1pm-2pm as they launch Sex & Consent 2026, a National Code-aligned eLearn designed to support institutions to meet Standard 3 through engaging, learner-centred, and trauma-informed education.
