Teach Us Consent

Founded by Chanel Contos, Teach Us Consent works with young people to put consent, respect and empathy at the heart of sex education.

They recently released a new suite of resources including podcast episodes, reels, documentaries, articles, and a newsletter. It has everything you need to get confident with consent, sex, and relationships.

Syphilis in Pregnancy

Syphilis is an infection you can get by having vaginal, anal or oral sex with someone who has syphilis. Congenital syphilis is when the infection is passed from the pregnant person to their unborn baby.

If not treated, syphilis can cause serious health problems for the pregnant person and their baby including preterm birth, low birth weight, congenital anomalies, fetal loss or stillbirth, and neonatal death.

Congenital syphilis is entirely preventable. Its occurrence reflects a failure of delivery systems for antenatal care and syphilis control programs.
